For these reasons, the American Academy of Pediatrics advocates the use of "screen-free zones" to prevent the use of electronic devices in certain areas of the home. The AAP also recommend that children take part in no more than one to two hours of entertainment media per day. Children under the age of two should not be exposed to entertainment media at all.
